University of Pittsburgh

Attending the University of Pittsburgh was one of the best choices I have ever made.  The faculty and classmates I interacted with were some of the most knowledgeable and diverse individuals I have ever had the pleasure of working alongside.  During my time as a graduate student, I was elected to the positions of Membership Chair and later President of the Student Chapter of the American Library Association (SCALA).  During my time leading SCALA, the chapter had some of its most lucrative fundraisers and became a leading force among the graduate student organizations associated with the Department of Library Science.
